Background:
Have spent the past 10 years as an undercover agent operating a spy ring through the local post office (PO BOX 1942). Whilst masquerading as a group of hopeless anoraks, my compatriots and I have been in reality plotting and working to bring about the overthrow of the current World Government. Or - I have been married to Adrian (Blackadder) for seven years now. I trained as a midwife, but am currently at home with our four year old lad, Alex, who I home-educate. I like playing the piano and violin, reading, walking on Dartmoor, trampolining and RPGs. The first one was more interesing, wasn't it?
Gaming Aliases:
The first one goes back to when we used AOL. Adrian had Quercus and I couldn't get the name I wanted, so I chose Oakmaiden because is went with Adrian's nickname.
Ember is the name I most often use for LAN gaming. I just kind of liked it.
Tipplewick I chose because it sounded vaguely amusing and it was the only episode I could remember at the time.
So, not much of a story behind any of them.
Hussars:
How did you find the Hussars or how did they find you?
Where do I begin? Well, first I met my husband (that was a long time ago), then he started playing computer games a lot, then much later Battlefield came out and he joined the Hussars. Then I did too.
How does playing with the Hussars compare to other games/matches?
I have only played with the Hussars online. I have played with other people at LAN games and that's kind of fun too.
